Hye Jee Jang
Teaching Artist, Piano A native of South Korea, Hye Jee Jang received her Bachelor of Music in piano performance from University of Missouri-Kansas City, Conservatory of Music. She is a holder of two master’s degrees, Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and a Doctoral degree in piano pedagogy at University of South Carolina. Dr. Jang has had numerous experiences to perform solo, collaborate with other instruments and orchestra. She also enjoys sharing teaching ideas and practical researches in the pedagogical field. She has been teaching piano for years to children, teens, and adults. As a versatile individual, she has had the opportunities to hold various professional roles, including music teacher, choir director, and piano instructor. |
