Teaching Artist, Piano
Gosia received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Piano Performance from DePaul University School of Music, where she studied under the guidance of Mary Sauer, the principal keyboardist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Gosia completed extensive piano pedagogy studies with Suzanne Baker and received Suzuki training from Doris Koppelman and Fay Adams.
In addition to teaching piano lessons and group classes at ChiME, she also taught in the Baby STEPS™ early childhood music classes. She has taught at New Music School, at her home studio, and in the DCFS Pathways to Development program through DePaul University School of Music. From 2002 to 2013 Gosia was the editor of the Piano Explorer magazine, for which she still occasionally writes articles. She is a parent of two young Suzuki students, and from that perspective she’s making daily new discoveries about the art of teaching.
