Conquer the stage and become a Broadway star!

Join us for an exciting week filled with singing and dancing with our wonderful vocal instructor, Ms. Samara. Students will work together and create a musical from scratch through engaging musical activities that will help them develop their singing and dancing skills. Campers will also work towards presenting a mini performance on the last day of camp for friends and family.

Is Any experience needed for this camp?
No prior musical experience is necessary. If a student has experience, we will make sure to use it in a way that makes the camp meaningful for them.
What Materials are needed for this Camp?
ChiME will provide all instruments and equipment for the camp. Please make sure children wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for walking to the park.
What activities will students do?
Throughout the camp students will workshop together in writing songs and creating dance choreography as well as making their own stage props and decorations
What will students learn?
Students will: 
  • Develop their singing and dancing skills 
  • Learn how to songwrite and create choreography from scratch 
  • Make their own creative stage decorations and props 
  • Present their musical on the last day of camp
What if i have to miss a day of camp?
If we know about the absence ahead of time, the instructor might be able to set up remote access or make a recording of the key parts of the day. If not, we will make sure to catch the student up with all day’s work the next time they can join the camp..​

The camp will take place at ChiME's West Town Location, 1148 W. Chicago Avenue.
