Music Therapy Sessions

Work on nonmusical goals in a fun, musical environment designed with you in mind!

What is Music Therapy?

Music Therapy at ChiME is a uniquely fun and motivating 1:1 setting for individuals to work toward nonmusical growth. Clients meet weekly with a board-certified music therapist to work toward measurable goals in the areas of communication, cognition, behavioral/emotional skills, fine and gross motor, and many more.

Weekly music therapy sessions are typically 30 minutes or 45 minutes, depending on client age, abilities, and goals. Interventions are designed with each client in mind, but interacting with music is always the vehicle for nonmusical growth! ChiME utilizes child-led experiences, improvisational and structured music-making, neurodiversity-affirming goals, and much more. After 9 weeks of music therapy sessions, caregivers will be provided a Music Therapy Progress Summary, detailing the data and measurable growth during sessions.
