Steven (BA, MMEd) began his journey into music a bit later than his other classmates. This late start had him behindhis peers so he was always playing catch up. This has formed the basis of his approach to education: if given easily digestible pieces and positive reinforcement, students will excel!
The Kentucky native moved to ChiME to begin his career as an actor, writer, director, and musician. As a veteran of over 75 plays, musical, and operas, he has been teaching his students from a performance perspective for the last 26 years. “Wahtdo you want your audience to feel? What do you want them to learn about YOU? What emotions do you want to exude?”
Steven is a devoted and loving father who supports all four of his children 100% on their various journeys.
