ChiME serves nearly 3,000 children every year through our programs at our location in the West Town neighborhood and ten partner organizations - six of which are Chicago Public Elementary schools. Approximately 20% of the children we serve have diverse learning abilities, or special needs, and over 50% of the children we serve are economically disadvantaged.
At ChiME we use the language of music to inspire self-expression, self-growth, and deeper human connections. Our goal is to provide long-term access to the many gifts music offers in hopes that one day all Chicagoans will value the language of music.
In order to continue to provide the breadth and depth of our programs and services to the children of Chicago, especially those in disadvantaged neighborhoods, we need to raise approximately $300,000 this year. As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on the generosity and support of the community.
Please consider making a donation that will inspire self-expression, self-growth, and deeper human connections in the next generation of Chicagoans.
