Family Music Fun

All humans are innately musical, and there is nothing more fun than families exploring and discovering music together. Designed for parents with children 0-5 years old, Family Music Fun will help everyone in the family awaken their love and joy of making music, develop emerging musical skills and help your children grow socially - all while having a great time! As families make music together in a safe, nurturing environment, they play small percussion instruments, sing, and take part in active listening games and musical movement activities. Repertoire of songs consists of culturally diverse and engaging folk songs, nursery rhymes, fingerplays, and familiar tunes, many of which explore seasonal themes. NOTE: Registering one parent/guardian constitutes registration for the whole family.

Family Music Fun... Do i need to register each person in my family?
No, please register just yourself. We will email you to learn about the number and ages of your children. The $25 Tuition covers the whole family. what will we do in class?
Everyone will engage with music-making! We will sing, play percussion instruments, move/dance, and laugh. We may even get to play some xylophones and/or ukuleles. WHAT is the oldest age for this class?
You are welcome to bring children of all ages to this class, even if they are older than the suggested range. Just keep in mind that most activities and repertoire will be designed with the 0-5 year old audience in mind. |
