Teaching Artist, Voice and Classroom Music Gintare is a music and dance teacher, a singer, and a dancer. In 2020 she graduated from the Orff-Institute in Salzburg, Austria, where she studied music and dance pedagogy. It laid the foundation for her teaching. Gintare started learning piano when she was 4 in a Suzuki school. Later, she continued her music education in Kaunas’ music school with instruments: piano and voice for 11 years. At the same time, Gintare was also working on her dance skills. She started ballroom and Latin dancing when she was 5 for eight years, then continued exploring different styles of dance like ballet and contemporary. During her studies, her majors were dance and classical singing. While Gintare was still studying, she started working in a kindergarten in Salzburg as a music and dance teacher and taught private piano classes as well as group dance classes. During the past year, Gintare started her own business based on everything she had learned about early childhood development, music, dance & Orff. She created and recorded a full curriculum, prepared educational material kits, and wrote original songs & other materials. Her work is now being used by parents and teachers all over Lithuania to engage young kids with music and dance. |
