Taylor Ross
Teaching Artist, Piano Taylor received his Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Kansas. He studied piano with Christopher Kabala at Interlochen Music Center for the Arts, Jane Allen at the Saint Louis Conservatory of Music, and jazz piano with Alan Swain. Taylor received Suzuki training at the Cleveland Suzuki Institute studying under Leena Crothers, Gail Lange, and Doris Koppelman. He completed Level One instruction in Orff Schulwerk. He also studied recording engineering at Hedden West Studios in Schaumburg, Illinois. He privately taught piano and music history to Chicagoland children and adults for four years, and is currently an active music performer in the Chicago area. |
